Year 2 Day 215: First Toofy-Peg!
Last night was rough. Real rough. Complete with baby thrashing on his changing mat when he woke Mommy AND Daddy who had to take him downstairs to change the most explosive nappy yet. I'm talking...out the legs...up the back...and down the arms...YES...A R M S! The reason for all the theatrics was revealed early this morning when I tied back the curtains and put him down on the changing mat and the sun shone through to reveal...
Toofy-peg number ONE!! It looked like an itty bitty kitty tooth or vampire fang (and only appears as a white speck in this photo). He spent most of the morning running his tongue over this new discovery. Then by this evening, well after I had made a Facebook "official" announcement and sent texts, the itty bitty tooth receded back into the gum and can now only be seen just below the surface.
They can DO that?!
Seems like a lot of work for nothing. Guess we're back on lookout.
After two and a half years in a long-distance relationship, I packed my life of 29 years into 21 boxes and moved to England to marry and be with my husband, Matt. Now I'm reveling in the youth of my 30s in Great Britain, supply-teaching in primary schools near Birmingham and enjoying newlywed life, being a mommy, and all the surprises they bring!
