Tonight was the first time I have attended mass at the Catholic church here in Brierley Hill, St. Mary's. When Matt and I lived in Kingswinford I went to Our Lady of Lourdes, which happens to be St. Mary's sister church as they're both connected to the same Catholic primary school.
I called around this afternoon looking for an evening mass with it being Ash Wednesday and planned to bring Ryan in the Moby wrap to see how he would do. Matt dropped us off since it was dark and Ryan slept through the whole mass. Father gave him a little blessing when we went up for communion and even gave him ashes when we went up later.
I'm so proud my little guy was so well-behaved!
