Year 2 Day 139: I Got Shot(s)!

Looking at this first photo, you wouldn't think he had gotten his 2-month vaccinations today, but he did and boy was he a champ! He's cried louder and more violently during a nappy change. He was weighed and measured as well and he is now 11 lbs 9 oz and 55 cm long, which is almost 22 inches. Yep, that's my kid...the shorty (for now).

He was good on the way out of the doctor's surgery and held up until about 3pm when he started to get a bit cranky (and foam at the mouth --er, I mean, blow bubbles).

We decided to go ahead and give him his Calpol in hopes of knocking him out, but little did we know he has an apparent immunity. It worked for about 45 minutes but then he was all "eyeballs" the rest of the afternoon.

Oh, and I just want to point out, he's not smiling in this photo...this is between sobs. I'd also like to know what genius designs a medicine dispenser in the form of a spoon for a baby who is not yet eating solids and would therefore not be as familiar with taking something from a spoon? Until babies are regularly eating solids, they're more likely to push it away with their tongue and then everything ends up on the outside of their mouth.
