Myst got a taste of freedom when I returned from the library this afternoon. As soon as he hears a key in the door while Matt or I are away, he bolts down the steps to greet us at the door. In most cases, he sticks his little kitty nose in the crack of the door to smell the outside and even though we keep him as an indoor cat, sometimes we'll let him step out onto the front garden and have a mooch around.
Today's mooch lasted all of 1 minute before he legged it back inside after the neighbor started his car.
