Convincing Ryan that bathtime is 'lots of fun' on the other hand...well, that's a different story. He had his first proper bath tonight. Although we didn't submerge him in the water, daddy aided in holding Ryan over the baby bath while mommy first washed his lovely, golden hair and then one-at-a-time tackled other areas of the body.
He actually did quite well during the first bit until it was time to dry his hair. From that point forward it was a mixture of "I'm okay with this" and "Will you people leave me the hell alone."
At least the end result was a clean, yummy-smelling baby.
